Opened in October 2015, Hilton London Bankside represents the next generation of design-led Hilton Hotels. Set in the heart of Bankside, just steps from some of London's most famous landmarks such as Tate Modern, Borough Market and The Shard, Hilton London Bankside is home to 292 stunning guest rooms including 25 bespoke suites which offer breathtaking views of the city skyline. The hotel also includes one beautiful penthouse apartment which boasts its own private roof terrace, a 100m2 entertainment area and views across the London skyline. In addition, the hotel brings a new neighbourhood eatery, OXBO Bankside to the area, alongside The Distillery, a cool and casual bar.

The hotel also features Bankside's largest and most exquisite Ballroom accommodating up to 700 guests theatre style or 500 in a banquet setting. Job Description

• Ensure all new starters, leavers and variations are processed accurately.
• People systems are utilised correctly and to their maximum capability.
• Active participation in the hotel’s Blue Energy culture committee.
• To be the local expert on People Portals, in particular Hilton University.
• Face-to-face coaching and training at all levels on both people and service related matters.
• Provision of employee relations advice when required.
• Thorough knowledge of the hotel operation to understand learning and development opportunities.
• Regularly review and revise job specifications.
• Support in recruitment in high turnover areas including the maintenance of Peoplebank and updating job boards.

Role in our Family

The People Advisor at Hilton London Bankside will provide day-to-day operational support and advice for all aspects of a team member’s journey with us. They will act as the go-to person for all people-related matters in the hotel and will work in collaboration with the Director of People and Culture to deliver the overarching People strategy.
