Waiter/Waitress

We are looking for friendly and multi skilled waiters/waitresses to join our Spice Village Family!

The position will be responsible for greeting guests and taking drink and food orders. Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area. Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests. Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests. They must be able to work both efficiently proficiently with enthusiasm whilst creating optimistic customer experiences and satisfaction.

The following job description enlists the duties that will be carried out by the individual within the position:

* Provide excellent customer service to guests

* Greeting guests with enthusiasm and positive attitude

* Taking accurate food and drink orders

* Remaining attentive to the needs of guests within the dining area

* Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests

* Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests

* Following health code standards with regards to the handling of food

* Performing other duties such as clearing tables quickly and efficiently for new customers to enter to meet the high demand of the restaurant

* Ensuring that the tables are well always presented and clean

* Processes the bill and payments of customers with efficiency

*Present the Menu

* Provide customers with detailed information on the Restaurant Menu and make suggestions based on customer preference

* Answer any customer queries

* Multitasking numerous front of house duties

* Do quality checks on products and report any issues

* Be cooperative and communicate well with kitchen staff to work well

* Clean any waste or spillage instantly and dispose of all rubbish in their appropriate designated areas

*Inform management of any complaint, comments, or incident

*Assists with any other additional tasks assigned to

Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £10.00-£12.50 per hour
