Position Overview & Specifications
The Role
Working within a dynamic and busy Finance Department, the role of Invoice Processing Clerk will require you to be forward thinking, be able to manage your own time and be a team player. The position will include processing Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger invoices as well as dealing with internal queries, telephone enquiries and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Processing sales ledger invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Processing purchase ledger invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- To work efficiency and accurately in line with our values and targets whilst maintaining contact with internal departments to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Resolving queries both internally and externally
- Working to daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
- To provide excellent customer service to Experts at every opportunity
- General administration and housekeeping tasks

Required Skills

- Familiarity with a variety of software applications.
In addition to these skills the candidate will require the following
- English and Maths GCSE standard Grade C or equivalent
- Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environment to address business needs.
- Good standard of computer literacy including Excel.
Benefits
- Salary £20,500 pa with a 6 month probation period, possible salary review if successful.
- Monday – Friday 37.5hrs.
- Alternating Shifts 8am-4pm / 9am-5pm per week.
- 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
