Position Overview & Specifications
Spacecare Ltd are an established national estates maintenance company offering grounds maintenance, soft and hard landscaping, specialist cleaning and winter services. Spacecare is the contractor of choice for many well-known property management companies, private owners, national companies and local governments, undertaking services on business parks, retail parks, industrial estates and commercial buildings..
The Role
We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager (South) to cover management of all site based staff (South and East), management of landscaping depots (South and East), site inspections and all recruitment, training and development of staff within the region.
You will be expected to visit various sites across the south of the UK, recording and reporting any issues internally. The area you will cover is broad, covering Cambridge to Dorset.
Ideally with skills in landscaping, you will assist the regional teams in the South and East, making sure they achieve the best results possible.
You will be responsible for client meetings, staff training, site visits and much more. This is an exciting and varied role that someone can become deeply involved with and make their mark.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
- Operations Management Experience
- Experience in Landscaping / Grounds Maintenance or other relevant experience preferred (not essential)
- H&S Qualification
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team with a flexible approach to work
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience with training and high level communication
- Good IT skills
