Kitchen Cook

Smith & Clay Ltd are looking for a Cook to join their Deli team. The successful candidates will be passionate about food, local provenance, and excellent service to contribute to the smooth running of the Kitchen with a positive attitude.

Flexible hours.

As a Cook you will be responsible for assisting in the following:

• Daily food preparation (pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, Deli’s hot food counter etc)
• Assist the Deli Manager with management of stock and kitchen orders.
• Adhere to food safety, allergy awareness & current legislation.
• Close monitoring of cleaning schedule for the kitchen.
• Adopt a friendly "can do" approach at all times.
• Engage in continuous professional development suitable to the role.

Food Hygiene certificate and allergy awareness preferred but not essential as training will be provided and experience working in a similar position is an advantage.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 35-37 per week

Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
