Role: Hoist Driver and OH Cabling Engineers

Location: South and West London

Type: Long Term Contract

Salary: £135 Per Day

Job Summary:

This role will involve lone travelling. Your day to day tasks will involve taking calls from field based engineers who require hoist assistance, travelling to meet them on site and providing, where safe to do so, support to complete fibre to the premises installations.

The work for this particular contract will require you to work at heights, using harnesses, ladders or elevating platform, MEWPS, working within roadside joint locations and working in customers’ premises.

You will be willing to work in all weather conditions. Foul weather PPE will be supplied along with a vehicle, tools and the equipment required to complete every job safely and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities of the role:

· Hoist IPAF 1b licence holder or a willingness to train

· Previous experience in a commercial driving role.

· Previous experience working at a roadside

· Willing to travel to and from various job locations within your working area

· Be prepared to work away from home to meet operational requirements if needed

· Be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions

· Visit and work within customer’s premises

· Ability to work alone using your own initiative

· Be highly motivated with attention to detail

· After training, work using hand held testing equipment and tablets etc.

· Be flexible with regard to working hours as you will need to support field teams when required

· If required, be prepared to work weekends.

· Attend accredited training courses if required

· Be computer literate and after training be able to understand network plans.

· Full UK driving Licence.

· SA001,

· SA002,

· SA051C,

· K8

· BT NOPS (Network Operative Passport Scheme)

This position will be PAYE umbrella role, Vehicle, Fuel Card, Tools, Accommodation (If required) all provided
