Driver's Mate - Durham

We are looking for an experienced Drivers Mate to work for one of our customers, SJL Transport, based in Durham to deliver and install electrical goods.

Drivers Mate - The Role:
· You will accompany an experienced driver in a 7.5 T vehicle to deliver and install ‘White Goods’, as well as set up ‘TV surround sound’ in customer’s homes. (This position will involve heavy lifting)
· With the customer at the heart of all they do, you will offer exceptional customer service at every stage of the process.
· The role requires working on a rota basis; and will require flexible working including public/bank holidays and weekends.
· The role will require you to work Overtime as and when necessary
The client will provide full and on-going training in the installations of white goods.
Drivers Mate - Requirements:
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Map reading and PDA systems experience (desirable)
· Proven experience in multi drop deliveries (desirable)
· A background in installation of white goods would be an advantage
· Act in a calm and professional manner at all times
· Be professional and presentable at all times.
· Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances
· Previous Drivers Mate experience
· Willing to Work Overtime as and when necessary
