Warehouse Operative 10PM – 6AM

We have an exciting opportunity due to growth and are recruiting an additional warehouse Operative to join our ever-growing team.

We have Temporary to Permanent jobs!

Our client is a well known British online white goods retailer, a global leader in shipping and logistics with over 20 years experience!

Pay Rate is £11.60 p/h – OT1 after 12 weeks service £17.42 p/h

We offer shifts Monday to Friday (Working every 3’rd Sunday) or Sunday to Thursday.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be working as part of the team , also to be able to work as an individual, be proactive and responsible for Health and Safety on-site to minimise risks, hazards, and incidents.

Main duties will include:

• Moving stock using hand pallet truck and sack truck
• Other general warehouse duties
• Keeping work area clean and free of obstructions
• Wrapping and strapping pallets if required

We have roles available in our Picking Department and the main duties will include :

• Using hand scanners, computers, machinery aids and conveyor belts to assist you collect the right items and send them to the packing department.
• The other way is stationary, standing at an automotive storage machine which rotates shelves to show the order that has been input into it. Once the order is located, counted and labelled, it will send it to packing.

Picking experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.

We have roles available in our Goods IN department and the main duties will include :

• Un-loading the goods IN stock and placing it in the correct area , using hand pallet truck and sack truck to assist moving stock around the warehouse
