An exciting new MRP Specialist role has arisen within our clients business. You will play a crucial role in driving the MRP process, collaborating with an external consultant to ensure the successful implementation of MRP into the Sage 200 finance and business management system. The client is willing to pay the market rate for this specialist, hence why there is no salary advertised. During the initial six-month probation, office hours are 9 to 5 with some flexibility, after which hybrid working will be considered.

So, what could a normal day consist of?
- Maintaining a relationship with Sage consultants and internal super users
-
Material planning and inventory management
-
Utilising the MRP system to analyse demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels
-
Generating and maintaining accurate bills of materials and production schedules
-
Collaborating with the procurement team to issue purchase orders for required materials
-
Monitoring and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
-
Analysing material usage patterns, lead times, and supplier performance for process improvements and cost savings
