Social Media and Communications Assist (Healthy Smile Team)

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Social Media and Communications Assistant to support the team in delivering a range of evidence based oral health improvement programmes across Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire as part of the Healthy Smile Team.

The Healthy Smile Team currently deliver an oral health programme called Care to Smile which provides training and support via a comprehensive and established programme to care and nursing homes, as well as early-years programmes such as Brushing for Life and the Brilliant Brushers supervised toothbrushing programme, to support the implementation of NHS Englands oral health improvement service specification for adults and children, on behalf of Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing support with the co-ordination and delivery of oral health improvement programme marketing alongside other team colleagues across four local authority areas under the guidance of the oral health improvement service lead. The post holder will develop and deliver digital marketing, social media and web content, to support the successful wider reach of the oral health improvement service.
