She Built IT NI are currently recruiting for Welders/Fabricators to join our client who is a proven leader in Manufacturing based in Carryduff/Belfast Areas. The Requirements
- Ensure all materials are accounted for tack and weld materials together as per engineering drawing to the highest standard and quality.
- Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, particularly welding symbols
- Inspect and test completed products to ensure they meet high standards of quality and precision.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose welding and fabrication problems as they arise.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to work within a team environment and able to use own initiative
- Complying with current and future Health & Safety laws, processes and procedures
The Person
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Be able to read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, charts and tables.
- Must have 1-3 years’ work experience, preferably welding in a heavy equipment environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment and decision making skills
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal guidance
- Ability to meet given targets
- Knowledge of H & S procedures & responsibilities
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred
