Product Manager - MFP and Printer Products

We are looking for a Product Manager for our MFP and Printer Products, to be based at Stockley Park, our European Head Quarters. Commercial focus is key to this role in order to help drive European business success and sales growth.

The role is hybrid with 3 days a week in the office and 2 working from home

Key Responsibilities:

Providing market intelligence and industry analysis, such market size and share, competitors portfolios and pricing, competitor promotions, market trends

Work with sales and marketing colleagues in supporting the creation of marketing collaterals, training guides and white papers

Processing and analysis of market data for Japan HQ, country product managers and business planners to guide budget plans and sales strategy.

Assist the Japanese team and regional teams in proposed price positioning of Sharp products.

Providing continuous support to colleagues across Europe for technical product queries and information and market related topics.

Regular review & investigation of the Sharp sales operations market requirements and regular communication with Sharp overseas operations including channel sales, Product managers and customers

Supporting on major business opportunities or issues, from a product specification & change requirement perspective. Leading communication between internal support & development, and Japan HQ teams to bring rapid resolution and sustain business growth

Experience / Qualifications

Essential:

• Previous experience in a Product Management role
• Commercial focus: experienced with price calculations and product positioning
• Analytical skills
• Working knowledge of compliance & regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Commercial minded approach to working
• Process oriented, planned approach to the responsibilities involved in the role.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines

Desirable

• Product Management background in Office MFP products or IT market / B2B business
• Good understanding of MFP functions, security, internet, networks, protocols and service and IT
• Product Marketing qualification
