Position Overview & Specifications

Sharp Consultancy are pleased to be working in partnership with a global, market-leading organisation.

They are looking to make an addition of a Payroll Administrator to payroll function at their Head Office based in Rotherham. You will be reporting to the Payroll Manager, working in a payroll team of 6.

This role is based in an accessible location and is commutable from a range of South Yorkshire locations.

We are expecting a salary up to £27,000 for this role, which is based upon relevant experience, plus excellent benefits including hybrid working (remote working from home 3 days per week), study support for a relevant qualification (e.g., CIPD) 24 days holiday + statutory entitlement, retail discount schemes, life cover etc.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but not exclusive to:

· End-to-end payroll for 3 payrolls – with a combination of monthly and weekly paid employees.

· Completing reconciliations and statutory payments.

· Helping, advising, and providing specific payroll information to internal and external customers regarding a range of matters including maternity, tax, NIC, redundancy etc.

· Administering the relevant pension schemes, including the collation of information, providing advice to employees, and ensuring compliance with the statutory regulations.

· Reconciliations of monthly deductions and provision of Year End Returns.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

· A minimum of two years’ experience working in a role that incorporates payroll processing.

· Working knowledge of statutory legislations and regulations

· Excellent communication skills

· Good IT skills – particularly the ability to use spreadsheets and formulas on Microsoft Excel, and able to work with relevant payroll software.
