Position Overview & Specifications

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a firm of Chartered Accountants in West Yorkshire for someone to join their busy Trust and Estates department on a permanent basis and wondered if you may be interested in the role?

ROLE: Trusts and Estates Assistant Accountant
LOCATION: West Yorkshire
CONTRACT: Permanent
SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

The Role - To assist with:

The preparation of annual Trust and Estate Accounts
The preparation of annual Tax Returns using CCH software
Day to day administration of Trusts and Estates
Liaising with clients and H.M Revenue & Customs
Liaising with banks, solicitors, and stockbrokers
Other general office duties which may arise

The Person

Will have previous experience in dealing with Trusts and Estate accounts or a more general background in accounting or taxation and who wishes to specialise in Trusts and Estates.
Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
Has a good telephone manner.
