Who we are
Selwood Housing Group is a not-for-profit housing association committed to providing affordable local homes for our customers. We have nearly 7,000 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership in Wiltshire, Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset and employ over 300 staff from our offices in Trowbridge and Melksham.
The role
The purpose of this role is carry out repairs and maintenance to our housing stock.
It has the following main responsibilities;
- Ensuring that work has been carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Developing and maintaining good levels of communication with all contract team members and operatives.
- Ensuring strict compliance with company and legislative requirements.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by having a fixed first-time approach to all jobs.

For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and abilities;
- To be an active apprentice, with a desire to succeed and develop in their field.
- Approachable and self-motivated who wants to develop.
- Work well with others, and recognises the value of good working relationships with others.
