Chef

Salute at The White Swan is a busy, independent, local restaurant, based in Rothwell, just outside Leeds City Centre, is looking for a chef to join the team. We have a strong management, restaurant and kitchen team, already in place, and we are looking for like minded people to seamlessly join us. In addition to our restaurant, we also have a beautiful outdoor dining area.

We are a fresh food Italian Style restaurant, using the best ingredients, working closely with local suppliers, as well as, quality imported produce from Italy.

As our chef you must have experience of running your own section within the kitchen. These include starters, pizza's and pasta's. You must work well as part of a team, whilst showing good leadership skills. You have to demonstrate excellent communication with our head chef and management team. You must show willingness to improve and learn, with always showing excellent knowledge on food and looking to bring your own twist to our menu that is already in place. Good time-keeping is a must along with, knowledge on stock control, menu development, understanding of the company’s procedures, training and excellent health and hygiene awareness.
