Position Overview & Specifications
RWS’s English Network Office in Sheffield currently has vacancies on its Intern Program for Translator Interns. Applicants must offer translation into English from at least one modern European language. This year we are looking to hire candidates with the following language combinations: DE > EN, NL > EN and FR > EN.
This paid internship will run for a fixed term of 6 months, and is designed to provide an introduction to professional translation and allow translators to grow key linguistic and commercial skills as they begin their careers in the Localisation Industry. The program will offer training modules in translation, review and machine translation post-editing, as well as full instruction in the use of some of RWS’s key technology solutions and valuable guidance on achieving a successful career in translation. For candidates who successfully complete the internship, there may be an opportunity to take up a permanent position.
