Position Overview & Specifications

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our creative studio on a full-time basis.

Based from our offices in central Lincoln, you will work on a variety of design projects including branding, print, digital and web, from simple layouts, working to strict brand guidelines, through to developing brand identities and concepts for campaigns.

We’d like someone who can hit the ground running, so we are ideally looking for candidates with 5+ years design experience (agency or in-house). Creative flair is critical, you’ll need a portfolio of great commercial work and a passion for design, in particular branding and print, with a desire to continually develop and push yourself. Any web development, digital, video, animation / motion graphics, illustration, packaging or photography experience is a bonus.

You will work with multiple clients, liaising directly with them at times, and be involved during the full life cycle of a project, from developing creative briefs right through to the final production stages and beyond. Therefore, strong communication, interpersonal skills and project management experience are a must.

Extensive experience of Adobe Creative Cloud is essential, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, Dimension and Acrobat Pro.

You will also need to be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

  • A can do & proactive attitude
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Creative approach and ability to think differently
  • Inquisitive and willing to challenge the norm.
  • Commercial understanding of business needs
  • A client centric approach to all work.
  • Excellent communicator – written and oral
  • Confident making decisions using your own initiative
  • Comfortable working alone or as part of a team
  • Able to give and take creative guidance
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage your own time (working to tight deadlines)
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
