Position Overview & Specifications

Job description

We are an outsourced Business Support company that provides the HR Services, IT Support and Accounts/Purchasing Administration for several growing retail brands across Scotland. Due to rapid growth within the Business, we have a requirement for an experienced Full Time HR Manager to join our expanding team.

This role will be based in our Head Office which is on Underwood Road, Paisley PA3 1TL. The hours of work will be 40 per week, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm. This is a permanent role with exciting opportunities for growth and development.

The role involves: (but not limited to)

  • Handling and managing sensitive employment relations issues such as grievances and employee welfare.
  • Leading the recruitment process, including selection and interviewing of candidates.
  • Collaborating with other Managers in the business, to ensure the smooth running of the company from a people perspective.
  • Partnering with senior operational staff including the Managing Directors, to establish and roll-out people-related strategy.
  • Overseeing staff attendance and absence monitoring.
  • Providing detailed HR reports to senior management teams.
  • Administration of employee-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, new starter packs, or formal notices of termination.
  • Leading new starter company inductions.
  • Managing talent pools and succession plans to ensure the company can continue to operate in the future.
  • Overseeing training and development of employees.
  • Administering financial elements such as payroll, compensation and benefits, and pension schemes.
  • Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way.
  • Training and leading the HR team to ensure the smooth running of operations in the department.
  • Conducting on site visits in relation to people management, grievances, disciplinary proceedings etc.

· Experience working in a similar role and leading a team

· Intermediate / Advanced excel skills

· Highly organised

· Able to prioritise a heavy workload to tight deadlines

· Excellent work ethic

· Passionate about working in HR
