Job brief

We are looking for a professional enthusiastic Bartender to join our Rockwater Bar Team, full time and part-time.

The prime focus of the Bartending role is to ensure all areas are completely standards driven, to consistently deliver exceptional hospitality and to focus on the Guest experience. As a business our aim is to ensure fast and continual growth in the sales and profitability of each area.

The working week will be 2 to 5 days based over a 7 day rota, with a mixture of early, late and swing shifts, as well as weekends with hours as required to suit the business. The role is all encompassing and involves input in all retail areas. Along with the Area Managers, Manager and Operations Manager, all staff will ensure that the business is supported throughout the opening hours, with hands-on management focusing on the customer experience.

Below is a list of the core responsibilities of the bar team:

● Serve a variety of drinks including beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and cocktails.

● Maintain a clean and tidy bar at all times.

● Provide excellent customer service.

● Set up/ close down the bar area.

● Taking and inputting orders onto the systems, and taking payments.

● Ensuring compliance with company procedures like health & safety, licensing & Allergens are followed at all times.

● Participating in Staff training, statutory governance and meetings when required

● Customer engagement – hosting customers across all retail areas, and building key relations with regulars and locals.

● You may be required to do other tasks and help out in other areas as the business requires

The right candidate:

● Will be confident and friendly, with a good sense of humour.

● Must be a team player.

● Must have a passion for food, drink and hospitality.

● Must be able to think on their feet and be proactive.

● As the venue has multiple bars, they should be comfortable working in different environments.

● Experience in a hospitality environment would be advantageous, but not essential, as full training will be given.

THE PACKAGE

Hourly paid role with a lucrative benefits package, including uniform and meals.

Hourly Pay: £10.00

Contract Type: Part-time and full-time

28 Days paid holiday per year and tronc paid monthly.
