Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our Management team, you will need to have;
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Dedication to high levels of safety
- A great eye for detail
- Ability to deliver high standards of cleanliness
- Experience of front of house or restaurant management
- A track record in delivering visitor experiences
- Availability for work leisure hours- weekends and school holidays
The successful candidate will have 1-3 years front of house experience in a leisure, tourism, retail, hospitality or entertainment environment. Operational and Safety management, supervisory experience. A first aid at work certificate and personal licence would be advantageous.
Shifts will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8am-8pm plus two other days on rotation to complete the 5 day week.
Main Duties
- Effective supervision of staff and visitors within the Hub, ensuring their safety and well being at all times.
- Responsibility for all operational aspects of the venue during their shift
- Co-ordinating staff resources on shift to ensure appropriate staffing provision is made at all times
- Managing customer service within the centre ensuring all concerns are managed and the highest level of service is offered at all times.
- Guaranteeing the venue exceeds standards at all times whether regulatory or otherwise.
- Motivating and managing staff, including responsibility for; staff, timesheets, monitoring sickness and absence, dealing with disciplinary proceedings and training.
- Undertake daily checks of facilities and equipment and organising appropriate
- Ensuring staff adhere to all regulation and legislation
- Responsibility for planning, organising, management and promotion of activities and events to achieve set targets
- Contribute to the business development and planning.
