Jewellery Sales Assistant for contemporary bespoke jewellery store

RING jewellers is an exciting, contemporary jewellery store based in The Lanes in Brighton. We sell jewellery from our windows & also take on bespoke commissions.

Fine jewellery sales experience is essential. Knowledge of Diamond grading is also important. A background in art & design would be beneficial, but not essential.

Unfortunately, experience in selling silver or costume jewellery cannot be taken into account as it is less relevant to our store.

The role is a full-time one which involves working 40 hours a week.

Although this is a job in a bespoke jewellery store it is NOT a bench job. There will be no jewellery making in this role as it is more of a sales & design role.

As this is a retail position the role does involve working weekends.

The job includes the following duties:

Selling Diamond engagement rings, wedding rings & other fine jewellery

Designing bespoke jewellery with clients

Project managing bespoke commissions

Liaising with workshops

Window dressing

Salary: From £24,000.00 - £26,000 depending on relevant experience
