Order Picker

*This a part-time role for Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday*

We are Ribble Farm, a thriving business with over 50 years of history based in Longridge just off the M6. We supply a wide range of products such as fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, dry goods and sundries etc etc to a fantastic customer base that includes restaurants, hotels, schools, arenas and large sporting clubs. Our coverage spans across the north of England with pockets in the south.

We work with a number of local and international suppliers in order to make sure we source the finest products on the market, from basic vegetables and dry goods up to the most exotic ingredients for our customers dishes’. Once received, they make their way through our multi-temperature supply chain to ensure the customer is receiving the highest quality of product available.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring that customer receives it on time and with a friendly attitude, as a representative of the Ribble brand.

The Role

Due to growth, we are looking to recruit pickers to join our day shift team.

Your core responsibilities will be:

• Pick orders across various lines of fresh food & dry goods using our picking line & handheld system.
• Assist in re-stocking the picking area.
• Assist with quality control.

What you will need

• You will ideally have experience as a picker or in a warehouse. Food experience would also be a bonus, but not essential.
• A positive attitude.
• An approachable manner.
• To demonstrate reliability.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £9.60 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Overtime

Experience:

• Warehouse Pickers & Packers: 1 year (preferred)
