Resourcery Group has recently been instructed by an established and successful property development and investment company to recruit a Development Project Director. Working for an established privately owned business, the role offers excellent scope to enhance and progress your career in project delivery via lead involvement for a mixed-use developer.
This is an excellent opportunity to focus your career within a dynamic client-side sector working alongside other property professionals and external consultants for the ultimate delivery of complex multi-million-pound schemes.
Leading on projects from the business's continued investment in current land / assets and the expansion of the portfolio via acquisition and development, the position of Project Director offers autonomy from the earliest outset of schemes. Core duties will include:
- feasibility reporting and working on project viability with other professionals in their in-house development team
- project programming for a variety of schemes within the overall development plan
- project assembly covering a selection of key consultants and contractors along with favourable contract procurement routes
- project delivery and development monitoring with a focus on managing budgets, timelines and quality
- leadership and mentoring project managers within the team
As an integral part of the in-house development team, the successful applicant will be:
- A proven project manager with a core professional qualification (e.g. RICS, MAPM, CIOB) and experience of delivering a number of projects concurrently
- Capable of operating autonomously for complex major projects
- Commercially aware with the acumen to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- A strategic thinker with well-developed communication and influencing skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £75,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
