Sales Manager, Mid-Market UK

The UK Mid-Market team is responsible for building the ads engine in the UK by onboarding & growing advertisers to achieve their marketing objectives with proven solutions and at pace. As our business continues to grow we are now looking to add a Sales Manager manager to lead a team of Client Partners & Account Managers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and be accountable for quarterly and yearly revenue goals, pipeline management and growth goals across a diversified book of business
• Build, train, and inspire a high-performing team
• Act as player/coach by driving long term opportunity and coaching team through short-term sales strategies
• Develop a deep understanding of Scaled UK brands and convert VP through C-suite relationships to impact
• Work cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Measurement, and Marketing to help shape product, platform + brand development.
• Identify winning strategies and scale the insights throughout the Scaled EMEA channel
• Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Reddit, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies

Skills and Experience:

• Ideal background: 7-10 years of experience in Digital Media/Marketing

• Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in team leadership roles
• Experience building both Brand Awareness and Direct Response advertising campaigns
• Demonstrated experience using advertising data to craft media strategy
• Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships
• Knowledge of the advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends
• Storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to clients
• Communication and presentation experience with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data in to client value
• Experience building relationships with top marketing decision makers at brands and agencies
• Proven experience as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing performance measures, processes and systems

Additional Considerations

• Proven ability to build relationships with VP/C level executives at direct clients + agencies (holdco, indie)
• Thought leadership - comfortable driving initiatives internally as well as externally representing reddit at events
• Proven ability to work with XFN partners to drive initiatives impacting the business as a whole
