Drivers Mate/ Porters required for John Lewis & Partners

Recruitment Solutions is working in partnership with John Lewis & Partners to source reliable, hardworking, customer focused Drivers Mates.

As a Drivers Mate you will be assisting a driver in delivering a variety of high-end quality goods, offloading, navigating, and delivering to John Lewis & Partners highly esteemed customers.

These are exciting opportunities to work as Exclusive Agency Temps and have the potential for an immediate start for the right candidates.

Providing excellent customer service is essential, as you will be representing this prestigious co-operative when delivering their goods and household items to their customers around the country.

Once selected, Exclusive Agency Temps will receive full training from John Lewis & Partners with regards to their roles including Health and Safety procedures as some heavy lifting maybe required when delivering items.

The shifts are 4/5 days a week between Monday to Saturday on a rota basis. This position is long term - ongoing. It is essential that you are available to work on Saturdays as part of your rota.

There are two different start time available, these are either 0600 or 1030.

You will receive £10.30 – £10.62 per hour and this will be paid to you on a weekly basis. You will also accrue holiday allowance with each shift you complete. You will also be entitled to lunch re-imbursements per shift worked also paid weekly.

Due to the location of the depot and start time own reliable transport is essential for this role.
