Position Overview & Specifications

**Remote working with the need to be in proximity/able to commute to an office in Birmingham, London, Carlisle, or Belfast at least once a week**

Our client is a fast-growing marketing agency, with a team experienced in a variety of areas including strategy, creative, social media, UX, web development, and SEO. As a business their experts are focused on solving problems for clients to become the agency of first choice for clients across a broad spectrum of industries.

What we need from you as a Social Media Manager:

  • At least 2 years of experience in running social media campaigns on a variety of platforms, for brands
  • Expertise across predominantly B2C social media platforms - Meta, TikTok, Twitter
  • B2C focused-expertise - understanding the end consumer
  • Impeccable written English skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with clients and provide expertise on how to get the most from social
  • Understand the relationship between paid, owned, and earned social
  • Ability to effectively monitor campaign financials and budgets
  • Analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to contextualise and present data clearly, and create reports on social media performance
  • Capacity to work well in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and with multiple projects

Desirable:

  • Any influencer marketing experience

What the role involves:

Working on a number of clients, you will collaborate with the social team and creative team to formulate ideas, craft engaging content, run advertising campaigns, interact with online communities and report on results.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing successful social media campaigns and always on social programmes on behalf of clients
  • Researching, planning, writing, and scheduling social media content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn for a variety of brands
  • Maintaining and optimising social media profiles
  • Interacting with audiences and customers on behalf of clients via social media
  • Working with graphic designers to create briefs for visually engaging content
  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the success of social media campaigns
  • Keeping up to date with trends and changes within social media and the wider digital marketing industry
  • Communicating with clients to keep them updated about plans, progress, and results
  • Having the commercial success of clients at the forefront of every action you undertake

Salary/hours: £26,000-£32,000 per year, depending on experience. Working 37.5 hours per week, flexibility around hours to be worked and the option to work a 9-day fortnight.
