Position Overview & Specifications

Recra is working in partnership with a market-leading business, they are looking to add 7.5 Tonne drivers to their team on a permanent basis.

Details:

Your day will typically start at 4.30 am and you will leave the site at 5 am, some days you could be back at 2 pm and on other days will be more 6 pm.
The route will already be pre-planned for you.
The van/lorry will already be loaded and you will be required to unload the items at the destination point.
Scanning parcels on and off route to ensure tracking information is available to customers and colleagues.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure everyone receives a timely and highly professional service.
To succeed, you’ll need a full UK manual driving license covering vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.

You’ll also need:

A positive approach and the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30kg.
Good timekeeping and customer service skills.
A professional appearance and attitude.
Confidence when dealing with people.
The ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Flexibility with working hours.
A good geographical knowledge of the area would be an advantage but is not essential.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off.
