Bigcommerce Developer and API Specialist - Freelance

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Bigcommerce Developer and API Specialist to join our team on a project basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our e-commerce platform on Bigcommerce and creating APIs for various systems. You will work closely with our internal team to design and implement features that improve our online store and enhance the user experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our Bigcommerce store, focusing on improving site performance and adding new features.
• Create and implement APIs to ensure seamless integration with various systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot software interfaces and ensure seamless functionality and usability.
• Work closely with the team to develop technical plans and functional specification documents.
• Continuously identify areas of improvement and propose suitable solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Bigcommerce and API development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with Bigcommerce platform.
• Extensive experience in API design and development.
• Strong understanding of the full e-commerce lifecycle.
• Familiarity with system integration and third-party services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends.
