Position Overview & Specifications

About The Role

RAC have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with experience in working in a regulated sales & customer focused department, to join our dynamic Group Customer and Marketing team, in Bristol on a permanent basis. This role will be delivered on a flexible hybrid model, dividing your time between our offices and home working.

In this fast-paced role, your core function is to define and deliver the RAC Quality Assurance agenda across all customer touchpoints. Ensuring we stay true to our brand promise of delivering ‘complete peace of mind’.

What You’ll Do…

  • Lead your team to monitor, audit, investigate and report on the outcomes we expect our customers to receive.
  • Ensure the team deliver against all current and future regulatory requirements.
  • Pro-actively identify areas of non-compliance and risks to the business and our customers.
  • Clearly define quality frameworks for each business area that drives continuous improvement.
  • Identify and monitor emerging trends through root-cause analysis.

What You’ll Need...

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of developing, implementing and measuring quality frameworks, systems and controls along with experience of leading teams to achieve targets with a high degree of accuracy over a multiple portfolio of products. You’ll also need the following:

  • A highly customer-centric mindset with experience in identifying continuous improvement.
  • The ability to influence at all levels, demonstrating high levels of commercial awareness.
  • Experience of risk assessment, analysis and internal audits.
  • Experience of cross-functional or matrix management within complex organisations.
  • Strong presentation skills coupled with strong analytical ability.
  • Working knowledge of Office365 tools including Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
