Dismantler / Mechanic For BMW Breakers Yard

Quarry Motors are a family run business established in 1989, based in Sheffield we specialise in the sale of used BMW car parts. We currently have 19 members of staff on our books and are looking to expand! A vacancy has recently arisen for an experienced vehicle breaker or mechanic on a full-time permanent basis.

Job Specification

• Removing a variety of car parts, everything from door handles to differentials and driveshafts.
• Check and inspect various parts on the vehicles for their condition.
• Fully break whole cars to a bare shell to remove wiring and other forms of scrap metal.
• Warehouse and shelve the removed parts in an organised fashion.
• The ability to follow our de-pollution procedure to safely remove fluids, batteries, wheels and A/C gas from vehicles when required.
• Other ad hoc duties as requested by management.

Our working hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm (No Weekends). Additional hours and overtime readily available! Occasional free fuel and other perks!
