We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team and provide excellent customer service while ensuring the accuracy of medication orders. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, including the ability to interpret and interpret prescriptions, dispense medications, and provide patient education. The successful candidate will also be knowledgeable about insurance plans and be able to answer customer questions about drug interactions and side effects.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications and other pharmaceuticals to patients and health care professionals.
- Ensure accuracy of prescription information and dosage instructions.
- Provide advice on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.
- Keep accurate records of patient medication profiles.
- Monitor patient drug therapies for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
- Advise physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals on the selection and dosage of medications.
- Ideally you will have completed CPPE and be an independent prescriber or on the route to becoming one.
- Experience of running a travel clinic
- Service driven pharmacy focused on hypertension, CPCS, DMS, NMS and Minor Ailments.
- Private PGDS, in SKINOREN, BETACAP, NORETHISTRONE, FEXOFENADINE, FUSIDIC ACID, MACROBID, NAPROXEN, OTOMIZE, SALBUTAMOL, SHINGLES, HPV, CHICKENPOX,
- Help sustain growth of business
- Management experience essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £49,425.00-£61,504.00 per year
