General Farm Worker required for 350 cow Dairy Herd

Part Time General Farm Worker required to assist with milking, scraping and general assistance with the dairy herd and youngstock.

· 350 cow unit, 11,400 litres, milked twice a day.

· You will be working as part of a large team, so you must be a good team player.

· Workplace pension scheme.

The herd supplies milk on a premium contract and must therefore meet the highest welfare and management standards in the country.

You must be able to maintain high standards, follow instructions but also be able to think for yourself on day to day topics.

We expect you to have some experience of working with livestock and milking and an empathy with livestock so you can pick out off colour stock early before they become ill. However, we are prepared to train you as required.

This is a direct employed job, not agency.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
