Junior Photography Assistant/Video Editor - Seasonal Opportunity

Initial Temporary contract - with potential to move to a permanent role

Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary - Dependent on experience

We are looking for a Junior Photography Assistant/Video Editor to support our fast-growing company working primarily in the property sector. Ideally, we require support staff with relevant experience in video editing/assisting photographers out on location or studio based. Training is provided throughout the job, and our team is always on hand to support you.

As a fast-scaling business, the right candidate will need to be dedicated & able to support our team and help us grow our business. If you’re a people person who thrives in the creative space and has a willingness to learn then this is the job for you.

Main tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Core duties

  • Working together to assist Photographers/Videographers on shoots out on locations across the UK
  • Training as a video editor to assist our team of editors during busy periods
  • Set up and take down of studio/lighting setup
  • General studio upkeep and tidy up
  • Ad-hoc tasks around our studios and location spaces

Job Requirements:

  • Ideally work experience in photography/videography
  • Ideally have valid driving license
  • Passion for providing the highest level of customer service to new, and existing clients
  • Must be detail oriented, diligent and very well organised
  • Professional demeanour with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible with early starts and potential need to stay away
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, multi-task using effective time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to meet deadlines
  • Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure
