Our client are seeking a motivated and talented Robotics Engineer to work on the design, development, testing, and implementation of advanced robotic systems and automation solutions. As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of robotics systems, from conception to deployment and maintenance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test robotic systems for a wide range of applications
- Conduct research and development of new robotic technologies and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robotic solutions that meet customer requirements
- Program and configure robotic systems to perform specific tasks
- Analyse and troubleshoot system issues and develop solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design, test procedures, and user manuals
- Collaborate with product managers, sales engineers, and customers to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in robotics technology and industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and other programming languages commonly used in robotics
- Experience with robotics simulation software such as Gazebo, ROS, and Matlab
- Knowledge of robotic hardware, including sensors, actuators, and control systems
- Experience with robotic system integration and deployment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision is a plus

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000, based on experience and qualifications. The role is office-based (60%) and site-based (40%) in Huntingdon.
