Our client is currently on a search for an experienced QA Team Lead/Test Lead with strong experience in Automation testing, as well as UI and API testing. With exponential, global growth over the past few years, they are looking for a hands-on QA Lead to assist in the day-to-day management of the testing team and activities. The current team consist of circa 30 QA engineers and growing, this position is vital to the management and growth of the team. The role will be working with the Head of QA within IT Development by undertaking functional and non-functional testing activities.

With the successful completion of an initial migration to Azure, our client is about to embark on the next phase of the enhancement of their IT service estate. The new QA Manager has begun an 'automation crusade' within the business with an example being; reducing testing practices that took 5 testers 15 days to complete down to 3 testers in just 5 days to perform the same task! But… there is more to be done and we need YOUR help to do it and you will be given the autonomy to make further improvements happen! Such a great opportunity here.

Some of the key skills and experience required include:

• Test Automation Frameworks (ideally any of Playwright, Cypress, Webdriver.io, Jasmine, Mocha, Chai etc)
• API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and/or UI testing experience
• Experience in using C# and Selenium for Automation
• Experience in managing a team of 2 or more engineers
• Financial services or Fintech industry experience

Very nice to have:

• Testing of C# or JavaScript applications testing experience is strongly preferred as this is our client's stack
• Azure or AWS exposure
• ISTQB/ISEB Certification
