Production Operative

Production operatives needed! Immediate start with progression available in Bury St Edmunds!

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a position offering full training in a role that allows them to work with their hands. You will be learning basic mechanical & electrical assembly skills from day one!

Starting pay of £10.50ph on an initial trial basis with a pay review after 3 months!

The company is a specialist in the manufacture of high-end electrical equipment for various industries worldwide. All staff must have a high attention for detail as you will be working with electronic parts & components.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Detailed soldering, measuring to length, cutting, and stripping cable, assembly of small components etc.
• Follow very basic wiring diagram
• Align and glue components
• Follow detailed inspection procedure: Air bubbles, marks, inclusions, cracks, dents, scratches, using height gauges, cleanliness, electrical insulation & continuity
• Flexible approach to work to meet customer demands.

If you have any manufacturing, production, assembly, or experience on any of the above duties, then we want to hear from you. Previous candidates have worked as assemblers or assembly operatives or have been within a manufacturing position within electronics.

Flexi hours are 07:30 - 16:00 or 9:00 - 17:30, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)
