Price Express Transport Limited is a well-established Specialist Handling transport company, primarily delivering commercial catering equipment, IT cabinets and cash machines. We operate a large fleet of 3.5t – 18t vehicles nationwide, from our main sites in Doncaster / Barnsley and depots in Bristol and Felbridge.

Delivery Driver's Mate

This job entails travelling with various LGV Drivers and assisting with approximately 8-12 pallet multi-drop deliveries per day across the South East & London. Assistance will be required with unloading, securing loads, delivery paperwork and telephone calls relating to the deliveries. A high degree of specialist handling is involved in the deliveries which are high value goods. Deliveries may require an element of positioning inside and unpacking, so experience of this is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

We operate Monday to Friday, start times and hours will vary dependant on the route.

Following a successful probation period, we offer a fully funded training scheme to obtain LGV Class C Licence, and progression to these roles.

Applicants must have:

• Excellent customer service skills as an ambassador for Price Express Transport
• Good physical condition due to the nature of the work (full training and equipment will be provided)
• Attention to detail and be able to follow processes
• The ability to work well and safely as part of a team
