Position Overview & Specifications

PreConvey is looking for 3 graduate software engineers to join our team. The role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of the launch of a new software product. You will work alongside senior developers to learn best practice and develop your skillset.

We are looking for candidates with the drive to build technically excellent software, solve problems, work with our close-knit team and someone who is passionate about bringing a new product to market. This is a unique opportunity to be involved with the end to end development, launch and scale of proprietary software.

You’ll have experience with our technology stack and languages including React (Typescript/JS), Node, Laravel (PHP) and Flutter although additional support can be provided if you are not familiar with any languages.

The software product is currently in development and you will be able to start with the full support of a team of developers to help drive the product forward. A willingness to learn best practice and develop your skills is a must.

As well as being responsible for the development of high-quality software, you will be an integral part of an exciting business. You will have the full support of experienced developers to apply business logic and coding to real world scenarios, solving technical problems and applying solutions to a new product.

Getting started

Once you have gained confidence in the tools and technologies we use, you will sit within a core development team working on product development.

You will take part in SCRUM rituals such as standups, sprint reviews, retros and refinement sessions. These usually take place as Slack or Teams calls running through the backlog on Jira and showcasing staging environments.

You will be able to absorb the experience of senior engineers to hone your skills as a developer/engineer. You should always be looking for opportunities to improve your work by seeking code reviews, working with others to plan your work and validate your approaches. We encourage collaborative working to solve problems and improve together.

The need to have:
