Graphic Designer

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and driven Email Marketing & Graphic Designer (with knowledge in video content creation) to join our amazing team here at PetShop.co.uk. This is a crucial role which enables us to reach out to our customers with great deals and promotions. You will work with brands (such as Pedigree and Felix) and senior management to help plan and execute effective marketing campaigns.

Key Skills:

• Ability to create and send out marketing communications, using our marketing software (We use Bloomreach)
• Ability to design and upload website banners and email graphics to our website using software such as Photoshop and/ or Illustrator
• Creative flair, ensuring designs are diverse, reaching the intended customer base and increasing the flow of customers to our site
• Ability to create marketing communications from a customer database, pinpointing specific groups. Enabling the business to personalise communications
• Ability to create video content for our brands which can be streamed on our site and across social media platforms
• Ability to create GIF’s
• Uploading and managing current products on the business’ website, ensuring the correct pricing is displayed in line with current marketing campaigns
• Managing marketing activities on sites such as Facebook
• Creating blogs to promote the business and the brands sold
• Management of multiple marketing campaigns at any one time

The ideal candidate will have/ be:

• A degree or equivalent in Visual Communication, Graphic Design or a similar subject
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience using video editing software to promote brands
• Keen to learn, develop and gain responsibility over time
• Able to use Excel to an intermediate level
• A passion for pets and the industry we work within
• Soft skills in HTML (not essential)
• Experience using Google Analytics (not essential)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
