Process Operator

PROCESS OPERATOR - DARWEN

A well-established manufacturing site in the heart of Darwen with over 100 years’ experience. Perspex offers a chance to develop whilst working in a friendly and inclusive environment.

The role involves:

· 100% compliance to Health and Safety policies across site

· Contribute to the team effort in reaching high standards and targets

· Taking responsibility for a range of production line activities, including assembling, mixing chemicals, inspection and driving internal transport

· Opportunity to train and develop skills in other areas of production and achieving a multi-skill premium upon validation

· 12 hour shift work covering both days, nights and weekends (with 3 x 30 minute breaks per shift)

· Working 14 days out of 28 (7 days and 7 nights) and 2 weekends out of 4

· Annualised hours / 38 hour week (with opportunity to increase working hours) and rostered days off throughout the year

To be successful you will possess the following attributes:

· Experience within a manufacturing/production background is desirable

· A high concern for health and safety standards

· Strong work ethic and an excellent team player

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Excellent timekeeping and attendance record

· Demonstrated high personal standards and self-motivation
