Mobile Phone Technician

PC Mac Doctors is a well-established computer repair company looking to hire an experienced mobile device engineer who is a confident, self-motivated, organized, technical, and logical-minded individual to help grow and run the repairs department.

Job Summary

We are looking for technicians who have experience in a similar role, with ideally 1+ years of experience in mobile phone/ tablet repairs (Apple & other devices).

You will need to be organized and able to work to deadlines to ensure the customer gets the best repair possible. You must be Energetic and proactive and have experience working in a fast-paced, pressurized environment.

You must be brilliant at technical repairs and have outstanding people skills. Without our customers, we don’t exist so when those customers need greeting or serving and no one else can help, we don’t wait around, we get on and help them to reduce their tech stress.

To consistently ensure that the efficiency and quality of each repair process are to an extremely high standard.

Organize and communicate with staff to ensure that customers are kept updated on their jobs to ensure that they receive excellent customer service.

Specifically, this will mean you will be doing the following:

• First and foremost you will be conducting Level 1 / 2 repairs on our customer’s devices. This will include things like replacing batteries, screens, internal flex replacements, replacing cameras etc.
• Although not required it would be ideal to be able to complete quality Level 3 repairs.
• You will not only fix their device to incredibly high standards, but you will also deliver the best service to them when they need it most.
• Welcome and help customers that enter our stores whether they need tech support, advice or to purchase an accessory from us.
• Follow directions from the store manager as they lead the team throughout trading.

What type of experience might you have?

• A minimum of 1 year of experience repairing smartphones and tablets either through work directly or for friends and family, specifically it would help to have experience already in repairing iPhones, Samsung phones, iPads, and MacBooks).
• A passion and curiosity about technology and problem solving
• An engaging communication style, energetic and proactive with an excellent customer focus
• A positive, can-do attitude and friendly persona
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and working under your initiative

Wage's starting at £11 but will quickly be able to rise with sufficient demonstration of knowledge and ability!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
