Bookings Team Patient Coordinator – Private Healthcare

Location: Core, Brown St, Manchester, M2 1DH

Reporting to: Service Centre Manager

We’re so excited to expand our bookings team! The private healthcare sector is growing rapidly and we’re offering the opportunity to join us as a Bookings Team Patient Coordinator.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, results driven individual who can provide exceptional customer service to our patients. All interaction with patients is across telephone, email and live chat.

Our friendly team of 13 is based in a beautiful city centre office where we convert enquiries for the medical side of our business.

It is essential that applicants have the following:

· Strong organisational skills

· Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills

· Computer literate with good working knowledge of all MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)

· Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

· Ability to follow procedure and be a team player

· Problem solver, with ability to think out of the box

· Experience working on telephones

Duties of this role include:

· Book patient appointments on the telephone and match them with the correct service.

· Advise patients on the types of services we provide at Pall Mall whilst also delivering a 5*
service at all times.

· Coordinate and schedule appointments and follow-up appointments as designated by
physicians

· Obtain and manage all consultant in a timely and efficient manner.

· Effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other employees within the Pall Mall Clinics & external facilities, providing accurate and responsive information

· Demonstrate courtesy, empathy and helpfulness toward patients and their families.

· Various other tasks as required to be necessary for the needs of the business.

There’s 13 people in the Bookings Team you’ll be part of. But there’s another 80+ people across the company – receptionists, booking coordinators, health care assistants, nurses and specialists across finance, marketing, HR, facilities and more. Plus a further 100+ doctors, surgeons and anesthetists. It’s never a dull moment!

Job Details:

· Hours: 37.5 hours per week over a shift pattern between 8.00am and 8.00pm (Monday to Friday) + 9.00am – 3.00pm Saturdays (on a rota basis)

· Salary: £22k

· Commission: a maximum OTE of £27,000.
