Paint Mix Technician - Twilight shift

PAINT MIX TECHNICIAN

We require a Paint Mix Technician to join our twilight team supporting the process application of paint onto vehicles by a major paint supplier in Norwich.

The position suits a reliable and ambitious individual who is looking for a career in an exciting, new environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Produce batches of paint to a formula from mixing machine
• Supply paint materials to various areas
• Awareness of different paint technologies
• Keep paint mix area clean and clear to 5S standards
• Follow all procedures and work instructions
• Attention to detail and conscientious

The individual should have basic maths and English skills.

Additionally, the following skills and experience would be advantageous:

• Some paint experience/knowledge would be beneficial

Full training will be provided on site.

The position will be based on the twilight shift, 4pm to 3am, Monday to Thursday, 41.5 hours per week.

There may be possible overtime required on Fridays, therefore applicants flexibility is necessary.

Approved overtime will be compensated, x1.5 Monday to Saturdays and x2 Sundays and Bank Holidays

Salary includes unsociable allowance.
