About Our Client
I am currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of a leading FMCG business in Runcorn. This is a rare Monday to Friday vacancy with normal day hours (no shifts).
The successful candidate will be supervising a team of up to 30 DC Operatives throughout all warehouse management processes, providing leadership, training and mentoring to their team
Salary expectations are between 30-35,000 including other benefits.
Job Description
The key responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Supervisor (Days) are:
- Supervise the DC Operatives throughout all warehouse management processes
- Providing leadership, training and mentoring to their team
- Investigate any issues and providing a safe and efficient resolution
- Lead on the initial stages of performance and absence management such as; records of informal discussion and return to work interviews escalating concerns to the Warehouse Manager
- Complete induction and signing off of training records
- Completing risk assessment, accident investigation, operational inspections and behavioural monitoring processes to ensure a safe workplace
- Proactively offering improvements to the operations and safety of the team
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will live within a commutable distance to Runcorn and hold the following attributes:
- Previous/current experience in a Warehouse environment at a supervisory level
- Experience within an FMCG environment
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Ability to prioritise work based on delivery schedule
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and other systems
