REVERSIONING PRODUCER / AP – Dari speaker

OR MEDIA are expanding their Acquisitions & Reversions team and are looking for an experienced PRODUCER / ASSISTANT PRODUCER to join this growing department – producing high-end documentary series for Middle East/International broadcasters.

We need people who speak DARI as their first language, who have fantastic attention to detail, to copy edit scripts and reversion acquired content. You will need strong writing skills and edit experience with working knowledge of CGI/VFX, audio and archive. You will need a strong editorial eye with an instinct for maintaining a narrative arc while making required-duration edits.

Currently a part time role, approx 3 days pw with flexible hours - open to hybrid working with 1 day a week in our London offices. Would suit a Producer, or an AP looking to step up, as a great opportunity to gain experience and advance as we are keen to train and promote within the team.

You will be working with editors using Premiere to edit and reversion a range of documentaries from small alterations to large scale reversioning projects. You will be required to produce edit decision lists for editorial and compliance purposes and have responsibility for ensuring that programmes comply with channel editorial and OFCOM broadcast code. Key skills include managing workflow in a fast-paced environment, being proactive in the face of schedule changes, and remaining communicative with your team.

Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £26,000.00-£31,200.00 per year
