The task at hand: We are looking for a Junior Developer to join our Technical Operations Team on a permanent basis. As our Junior Developer, you will work in an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will help businesses of all sizes leverage technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners.

The role requires you will work to solve production issues on customers’ and internal business applications with the wider support from the team. Developing and testing Web-based Software, Node.js, .Net and Python, providing regular updates on the progress of development tasks. A big part of this role will require you to improve your skills, acquire business knowledge and continuously learn new technologies and ways to do things

This position is homebased with occasional travel into the office, with the option to work in any of our UK offices if you prefer.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in weekly review and planning meetings
• Writing and updating test plans/scripts
• Engaging with Business Analysts and Operations teams to understand requirements for development
• Providing regular updates on progress of development work streams and releases

You'll be great in this role if: You have excellent analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and have experience using Node.js, C#, Angular / React and knowledge of Databases including (Google BigQuery, Microsoft SQL, Postgres) You will have superb communication skills both written and verbal and can handle multiple assignments, tasks and responsibilities. Personally, you will demonstrate integrity in challenging situations and have a tenacious attitude when resolving issues through their conclusion whilst keeping clam under pressure.
