Software Tester

As a Software Tester at Onebright, you will be able to support colleagues as part of our team approach whilst being responsible for the testing and quality assurance of systems implemented at Onebright. You will also be expected to input into our architectural and wider system discussions and work with the Lead Developer and Product Owners to realise impactful business value.

Duties and responsibilities

• Create and enact tests for our next generation of systems both internal and third-party
• Provide advice and direction on all matters relating to testing
• Reporting progress and blockers to the Lead Developer
• Document tests using the tools available
• Create and enact automation tests, as required
• And you must be able to attend our York Head Office regularly each week to engage with our internal team.

To be successful in this role you must have the following Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 3 years of relevant testing experience with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate your experience with Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience of working in an Agile environment

• Good technical documentation skills
• Proven stakeholder management experience.
• UI-driven automation testing with software similar to BugBug.
• Basic understanding of MS SQL to be able to query data and verify test results
• It would be a disinct advantage if you could demonstrate knowledge and experience in API testing and JIRA Zephyr Scal
