We are a highly reputable garage in London, established in 2014, and committed to providing the highest quality service to our customers. With a strong focus on growth and development, we have invested extensively in modern equipment and machinery to create a safe and efficient working environment for our team.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a garage, a Level 3 qualification, and outstanding diagnostic skills with a familiarity of diagnostic procedures. The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the successful candidate will be a committed team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues, while also demonstrating the capability to work independently. A passion for delivering the highest quality work and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations is also key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting diagnostic procedures and carrying out fault repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Undertaking routine servicing and maintenance tasks on vehicles
  • Identifying and reporting additional work that may be required on a vehicle
  • Working to tight deadlines and displaying resilience under pressure
  • Maintaining excellent communication and collaboration with colleagues
  • Working autonomously to ensure individual responsibilities are fulfilled and contributing to the team’s overall success

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a garage
  • A Level 3 qualification
  • Proven diagnostic skills with experience in diagnostic procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on achieving the highest quality results
  • An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working collaboratively with colleagues
  • A deep passion for automobiles and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum plus OTE, and 20 days paid holiday.
