Job Title: - Maintenance Technician

Location – Swindon

Salary - £35,000 DOE

Type - Permanent/Mechanical Division:

Our client is a leading Mechanical Engineering manufacturers with huge growth in the Swindon site

Due to the growth of the business, we are now seeking 2 Maintenance Technicians. The purpose of the role is to maintain machine tools and equipment necessary to ensure production targets are achieved, while ensuring equipment and operations meet and exceed Health and Safety regulations. Working as part of maintenance team and supporting production operations to ensure safe and efficient maintenance of machine tools, equipment, and services.

Specific responsibilities

• Perform both Electrical and Mechanical Machine tool maintenance
• Perform CNC / Electronic diagnostics
• Undertake P.A.T
• Maintain Factory Lighting
• Maintain Emergency Lighting
• Maintain Security systems (Fire)
• Support Fire Crew operations.
• Support other maintenance personnel with all machine breakdowns and movements in -order to support production requirements.

Experience

• Machine tool Maintenance in factory environment including PLC Controls
• Construction of Fixed Wire Installations
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings Desirable:
• 18th Edition, Wiring Regulations BS7671
• Electrical Installations City & Guilds 2382-10
• Portable Appliance Testing City & Guilds 2377 Personal Specifications:
• Good Communications skills to enable liaison with production supervision and suppliers.
• To be capable of working both in a team and independently Qualifications:
• Suitable Electrical Apprenticeship City & Guilds
• Understanding of Electricity at Work Regulation
